Fated change is in the air as these two planetary giants connect
The conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Uranus in the sign of Taurus is a once in a lifetime transit that we will be experiencing for the next 3 weeks. The peak will take place on Saturday, April 20th where Jupiter and Uranus will be meeting up at 21 degrees Taurus.
Uranus
The planet Uranus is the planet of revolution, innovation, progress, shock and unpredictability. It is a lightning bolt striking, a stroke of genius. It is destabilizing but only because change cannot come without sudden disturbances and re-organization. It is the energy of progress and innovation and is directly connected to technology and future progress. Uranus brings ingenious ideas and insights that come out of the blue and change our world irreversibly.
Uranus has been in Taurus since May 15th, 2018 and will stay there until April 25th, 2026. It has been bringing change to finances, material possession and our collective values.
Jupiter
Jupiter is referred to as the Great Benefic. It is a planet of expansion, expanding anything, and any planet, that it touches. It is known to bring positive blessings, generally speaking, and it represents a point of growth. With Jupiter, we are maturing and evolving, our mind is expanding and what we know about ourselves and the world is changing.
Jupiter has been in Taurus since May 16th, 2023 and will change signs into Gemini on June 20th, 2024. It has been teaching us the value of slow growth and the deeper meaning of security.
Bringing Change
Both Jupiter and Uranus are connected with change, so fated change is in the air as these two planets link up in an explosive conjunction. Jupiter, as a natural magnifier, will expand the Uranus energy so who really knows what will happen -- Uranus is the planet of shock and surprise after all.
These things take time, and are not one event, and certainly not just a single day. The things set in motion are connected to a larger cycle that will play out. With all of this happening in the sign of Taurus this is only emphasized by the sign's slow and steady nature. Even the intensity of this conjunction will be felt for a few weeks, April 17th - May 8th to be exact.
Post Aries Eclipse
This major astrological event is taking place right after the New Moon in Aries total eclipse and is very much so riding in the energy of the post-shadow period. This could make this event feel a little like a third eclipse. Jupiter is connected to fate as well, so there is a strong tie to destiny with this event.
Jupiter Uranus Conjunction
There’s bound to be some collective experience that comes from this conjunction, as there has always been in times past. Uranus and Jupiter link up in conjunction every 14 years, and have brought us many advancements in technology and culture, such as landing on the moon and the launch of instagram. Rare is it, though, for this conjunction to take place in the sign of Taurus, the sign of security, values, love and finance.
If you have planets at or around 21 degrees Taurus this is a very big deal for you, a once and a lifetime event that could bring major change or hand to you a seed of change for you to plant and grow – growth over time is big Taurus energy after all. It's important to remember that oftentimes, especially with transits, we are given seeds that we then need to tend to. Big change most of the time, doesn't just happen (though it certainly does every once in a while). More often, we are given a glimpse of a possibility and it's up to us to nurture the growth of that thing and commit to bring it into our world.
