Super Full Moon in Taurus

Uranus Brings an Electric Shock to the Venusian Moon

The full moon in Taurus peaks on Friday, November 15th, 2024 and brings with it an energy of change yet tension around moving forward. We might feel at odds with our environment, and due to this being a super moon our emotions are likely over-active and we may find ourselves more reactive or emotional than usual. We are meant to be letting go but the changes around us may feel uneasy and possibly overwhelming. We are essentially being torn between two realities, the one we have been traversing and the new one we find ourselves entering. Taurus guides us to ground and root into ourselves and our earth yet not to become so fixed that we can not move with the changing winds around us. We will need to be practical and diligent to ground the electric energy Uranus conjunct the moon is bringing but this same energy may tempt us to become stuck in our ways and resistant to where the Universe is trying to take us. With the full moon in Taurus we are working with our beliefs, relationships, values and sense of security, both emotionally and materially, and it is in these areas of our lives that we will feel the energy of this lunation. We are likely reaching a place of culmination in these areas and if so, now is the time to graduate and move on. We may also experience changes in our sense of security and stability and the sextile of Neptune and trine to Pluto are illuminating a path of enlightenment for us. 

Moon Conjunct Uranus 

Although this is a Venus ruled lunation in the earth sign Taurus, this moon doesn't have quite that usual Taurisian feel. This is because it's tightly conjunct with Uranus, the planet of change, unpredictably, revolution and sudden insights and breakthroughs. Uranus is unpredictable by nature and brings a shock factor with it. It is also concerned with the collective and the responsibility of the individual within the collective so these themes may be coming up now. Uranus can bring flashes of insight, cosmic downloads and a vision of the future. 

Moon Sextile Neptune and Trine Pluto 

The full moon is making a harmonious alignment with Pluto in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces. Both of these planets are in their final degrees, meaning that the collective is approaching the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one is upon us. Pluto will move back into Aquarius for good (until 2043) on November 19th, 2024. Something brand new awaits but this moon is helping us wrap up the last of the threads we need to tie before we can move on into something new. This moon may even give insight into what the new cycle may hold for you. 

The trine to Pluto is giving us the tools we need to dig deep and look past the outer layers to see the truth. It's possible this moon will reveal certain things or give you the clues you need to put the pieces together yourself. Pluto is the detective and asks that we prob until we find the core of any matter at hand. Pluto is endowing us with courage in the face of the unknown or hard to swallow truths. There is no path here that supports avoidance or running away, we have to face these things head on and get to work transforming what is not acceptable to us. 

The sextile to Neptune is bringing the assistance of spiritual insight and creative innovation. This is a good time for creative and spiritual matters and with Taurus’ connection to the earth and the material world there is a productive energy surrounding bringing the imagination to life. 

Neptune is going to change signs soon, on March 30th, 2025, where it will move into Aries. This will be a drastically different energy than the one we have been living within for the past 12 years. This means we are in our final lessons with Neptune in Pisces so meet them head on and finalize what needs to be finished. Neptune in Pisces has given the collective an increased interest in spiritual matters, making the esoteric more mainstream than ever, but the same can be said about conspiracy theories, another aspect of Neptune. Neptune in Pisces in many ways has given us a false sense of reality and it's possible when we move into Aries, which is about the individual and being independently led, the veil will start to lift. However, due to the nature of this sign being impulsive, headstrong and unbothered with collaboration, we may also find that people pick their reality and build their world even tighter around it. 

Venus Square Nodes of the Moon 

Venus squared the nodes of the moon is putting pressure on our growth but in a way that may feel tense and conflictual. The growth that is coming upon us may have us triggered in some way and likely we need to look back into past versions of ourselves to understand the inner struggle that is taking place. We are trying to align our lives with our values but this may take a path of inner tension until the truth is revealed to us with a breakthrough. This aspect is honestly a positive because it is pushing us right to where it is we need to go to find greater fulfillment but we can make this difficult by resisting the healing work that needs to be done to get there. Squares put pressure and tension on us and often bring conflict and friction but these things are all a part of the sacred recipe for growth. We need the tension and the conflict to push us onto the real path, the path of evolution and transformation.
